Arlo Pro 2 cameras will not scan QR code with no chime sound

Hello, i am following the instructions yet my cameras will not scan the QR code. there is no click, i assume that it is taking a picture of the QR , and there is no chime. whats up with that?

You should not need to scan the QR code. You should be able to go into the device page of the app or IDE and select add new device. Add the base then one by one add the cameras and sync them to the base.
