recording only last a day then are no longer availble. Basiclly meaning at midnigh i loose everything. i have checked all setting and dont see anything i can select to change. i have at times seen no more than 2 days of recording but they keep disappearing. please help.

If you are on a shared account, someone else on your account could be erasing them without your knowledge. Wouldn't be the first time. If not, check the filter settings in the Library.

While not necessarily your issue, be sure t check that no filter is set in the library (the funnel icon should be empty).
