Arlo Pro 2 Notification Sound Setting Not Working

When I set the notification sound setting to a 'chime' sound, then go and test it, it doesn't make the chime sound. It makes the sound of what my text message is set to. This feature used to work fine, now it doesn't. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes, I have the same problem. The notification sound setting in the app is ignored. I can also confirm that this initially worked when I first set up the system.

If you read many of the other existing threads here on the same subject, you'll find a workaround.

 

As JoeCymru has posted many times, use the phone settings for the app. Apps, Arlo, Notifications, notifications, Sound.
