Arlo Pro 2 No Microphone

So my husband’s app has the microphone and 2 way communication and mine does not. We both have the same phone same updates and same app. What gives? He also renamed our cameras but the updates don’t show on my app.

Do you use the same account on your individual devices or two different accounts requiring the camera owner to send an invitation to the second account?   I use the latter model due to one of us being logged out when the other is using the cameras when we are logged into the same account.  I recall there is less functionalit for the invited user.  It has been a while, but I think the invited user might need to have Admin rights in order to use the microphone.  These are not full Admin rights for some reason, but they offer some additional functionality to the invited account.

The renamed cameras not showing means you're using an account that was granted access. You get to name the cameras the way you want - changes don't propagate to shared accounts. 

 

You may also need to check the app permissions in the phone settings to verify that they are set to allow the mic.
