Arlo Pro 2 - Clarity and Compatibility question

Will the Arlo Pro 2 1080p camera work with the Alro Base Station that came along with the Arlo Pro? Also, is the clarity of this camera sharp enough to see an incoming cars license plate as it passes by?

Yes and "It Depends" (TM).

With a 130 degree angle of view, these are not ID cameras.  If close enough, you'd be able to see details but download any 10mm fisheye lens image from the Internet and try the same thing when sampled to 1280x768 since the lenses are similar.
