Arlo Pro 2 Camera Shows in Apple HomeKit but not in the Arlo App??

I have five total Arlo cameras, two are Arlo Pro 2 model. In one of those two, the battery went bad, so I ordered a new one on Amazon. When I put the new battery in, it wasn't syncing with my base station so I removed it from the system and went to repair it. Based on the flashing lights on the base and the camera, it looks to have paired successfully... but it doesn't appear anywhere in the Arlo app?
At this point, I noticed that I could integrate my Arlo camera system with Apple HomeKit (news to me, idk how long this has been available). I went through those steps and was able to see all my cameras in the Home app -- INCLUDING the camera I tried to repair and now isn't shown in the Arlo app.
Very strange. I inherited the system from a friend and had been working fine until recently. Now considering other HomeKit compatible systems to replace my Arlo setup.
