My battery life is awful for this one camera. I have a picture of the battery on the app. It looks different than the other batteries on the app.
Also wanted to see if anyone else has a problem with your system working when it is zero degrees or lower outside?
Thank you for everyone's support.

How is it different?

Have you tried

  • swapping the battery with a different camera
  • swapping the camera with one in another location

These tests would help you figure out if the issue is with the battery itself, the camera, or the location (connection quality or the amount of video streaming at that spot).

The camera is spec'd to operate down to -4F.  The battery won't charge below 32F, but will still power the camera.  Low temperatures will reduce the battery run times (a basic fact of battery chemistry).

Some have found that the camera will run at much colder temps if you remove the battery and charge it with an outdoor rated power adapter.

I have not tried switching it out or switching the camera. I might have to try that. I will try the battery first. I don't want to try both at the same time.
