I bought the 6 camera Pro 2 bundle/kit in October 2019. I am still not able to use the 6th camera, it tells me I need a subscription in order to use it. Now why would they sell a 6 camera kit if you can only use 5 cameras? I was told that this bundle was different and that the 6th camera would still work without paying for an extra subscription, but it has never worked. Any insight is much appreciated.

Also, battery life!!! Since the day I installed these cameras in my home, on a full charge, I am lucky to get maybe 1 week out of the batteries before they are dead. The cameras are not on continuously and are not running 24/7. I've changed the settings on all of them more than a few times as to not get triggered with every lil movement or motion in my house and have also had them turned off most of the time from bedtime to end of work/school day. So really they were only ever on intermittently between 3:00pm-11:00pm. Did I just get a bad batch of batteries? I've read of people getting a month out of their battery and I've never gotten more than a week. Have tried contacting Arlo on several occasions due to previous cameras that stopped working as well as the issues with these batteries and their customer service sucks and never responds.

Unfortunately, you didn't set the system up correctly initially. You have to choose the correct model to get all 6 cameras on the free plan. I believe it's now impossible to rectify this although possibly removing the system completely from your account, creating a new account with a different email address and setting up fresh may work - no guarantees.

Battery life depends on total number of minutes of live view and recording, on average, per day. Spec life is based on <5 minutes per day. It doesn't sound like you're exceeding that so then it comes down to camera placement, house construction, object on/in the walls between the base and cameras and even wireless devices interfering with the signal. What is your house construction? Do all cameras do this? Is there any wireless device near the base (since all cameras seem to have the issue)? Try moving the base away from your router to see if that helps.
