Arlo Base Station keeps disconnecting from the internet and losing all camera feeds

I have exactly the problem that was already reported here. The trouble is that it keeps happening when I’m away, which defeats the purpose of this security system. Arlo team, please advise!

Based on my own experience when this happens I have to power cycle the base station and await for the cameras to return online after a few hours.
This usually occurs after the base station receives a firmware update which can occur anytime. This usually means that you need local access to the equipment so you can perform the process.
I get around the issue by using a smart plug on the base station to remotely power cycle the base if I am away.

Does the web portal show as offline as well? if this has been consistent, It appears you may be experiencing hardware failure based on the device continually going offline. If changing the ethernet cable, internet is not dropping and a factory reset doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to consider replacing the unit.
