Here are a list of known issues identified with the Arlo app since the change from the legacy app.
1. Occasional differences in the battery levels reported when using the IOS version of the app when compared with web and Android. This happens with Pro 2 and the doorbell and after a while tends to correct itself.
2. Notifications - the new apps notifications are annoying - you can mute them for time periods but cannot specify a range of times or other conditiions - quite annoying when you have hundreds of notifications a day when somebody walks past your gate. At present it means having to select mute every single day - or each of our devices makes noises.
3. USB storage on VMB4000 -
Some USB sticks report the wrong volume label or can say 'needs formatting' when there is nothing wrong in the USB stick.
4. New feature 1 - local storage sync to cloud.
Provide feature to copy videos within the current subscription timeframe to the arlo cloud where they are missing due to internet connection loss or more recently AWS type problems.
5. New feature 2 - provide an option to preview videos that are on the local storage, when you are using Arlo app when connected to the same network as the base station.
6. New feature 3 - similar to 2 but provide read only network share option so videos can be copied from the base stations local storage when connected to the same network as the base station. Feature should be turned off by default and provide named, SMB share when enabled - share feature should be automatically disabled after a specific time interval for security reasons.
