Hey all,

I suspect someone reset the base station in my system. Here’s the state of the system as I found it:
1.) App does not display cameras- the device tab is empty.
2.) all recordings are missing /erased
3.) Invited guest to the system are gone
4.) When reconnecting app to the base station, the base station is named something to the effect of “a3v$”
5.) once reconnected, cameras auto populated

Does this sound like symptoms of a base station that has been hard reset using the base station recessed “reset” button?

Hi @Dcokewell

If the base station was indeed factory reset, you would still have your cloud recordings on your account & the cameras would not sync back up, all data would unfortunately be removed.

Please contact the Support Team to further investigate this issue. You will find several options for contacting support in the provided link. Arlo Tech Support

What If I do not subscribe to cloud recordings- Would those recordings still be accessible on the Arlo site or any other Arlo platform? How about accessing Log in /system event logs- will Arlo support be able to compile that data for me?
