Hello.

Are Netgear Arlo Pro 2 cameras' 130 degrees field of view by default? Or did I miss an option to increase the view?

Thank you in advance. 🙂

The FOV is set. I think in reality, it's more like 140 degrees if the Arlo Pro is 130 degrees. Definitely a wider FOV

It's a fixed lens - no zoom or focus. You can set a zoom but it's a digital version and can only zoom IN, not out.

I don't think many people want WIDER FOV. What are you going for?

Hmm, it doesn't seem 130 degrees. Oh well. Wider views would be nice!

Shoot, folks complain that they can't read license plates or other details that only a longer focal length with a much narrower FOV would provide.

I think if you go any wider, you start getting a major fisheye effect going on. The Arlo Pro 2 FOV is really quite wide IMO and definitely significantly wider than the Arlo Pro
