Adjustable buffers before/after motion is detected

I wish these cameras had an adjustable buffer you could set before motion was detected. My cameras detect motion and start recording but by then the person/object is already out of the frame, so I end up recording nothing. I would like to have a 30sec buffer so that my cameras would capture their image.

With the Pro2 cameras, it sounds more like a sense level adjust and/or location change needed.
