AL1101 Security Light - Mobile App > Add Device Failure after 4.16 update

The following set up was performed on iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS Version 17.5.1

Step 5 failed, looping back to Step 4. Could never get to Step 6 to scan QR code.

( I was able to perform this set up from an Android device with an older version of the Arlo Mobile App.)

 

How do I set up the Arlo Security Light system?

This article applies to:

AL1101  ABB1000 

To set up the Arlo Security Light system:

  1. Launch the Arlo Secure App.
  2. Tap Devices.
  3. Tap 
     

     

     or Add New Device +.
  4. Tap Lights.
  5. Tap Security Light.
  6. Scan the QR code on your Arlo Bridge.
  7. Follow the in-app instructions to add the Arlo Bridge and each Arlo Security Light.

I have not attempted to use the Add Device feature of the Mobile App from my iPhone again.  I was waiting for a response from Arlo Support.
