Local/Direct Storage Access on VMB5000r4

When viewing the library's local SD card storage from the iPhone app, why am I not presented with thumbnail images of the recording? Must I download the recording first to see a thumbnail? I see some information that the recording is available, and a graphic with an arrow-down. Thanks.

Thumbnails are not available at this time for locally stored content.

 

With an active Arlo Smart subscription, any content saved to the cloud will provide a thumbnail image.
