This really doesn’t apply specifically to the model I specified. It is more applicable towards the app. I have the “Arlo 2 camera HD Security System” with VMB3010R2 base and 2 H7 cameras. I use the Arlo iPhone app v2.7.7 (56). When the app indicates low battery, I tried to find somewhere on the app what size battery the camera takes and how many. The app knows my base and the camera used and tells me the low battery but no information on battery size and quantity I need to get. The app should be able to give me that information as it knows the cameras in use, right? I was at the hardware store and remembered needing batteries. But with my app I couldn’t get the battery info or how many I need. Seems like this would be an obvious customer need the app can provide, battery type and quantity, and provide it in the Camera’s Device Settings or Device Info page. So I have two Arlo Go's with the Arlo Smart Premier subscription and have them out on a farm charged with the solar panels --- but I reallllly would like to be able to schedule the sensitivity of the motion detection so that I don't create hundreds of clips when I don't really need them.    Is there any hope? Make a setting on the devices ,that can charge from the solar panel, a percentage level to start charging. Insead of charging when sunlight make it when sunlight and <= 25% for instance. Then the customer can set there level they want. Just like with cellphone to much charging can hurt the battery life. ... View more

We love Arlo but hate the token ID's always expiring.  In todays world many people have password list because some of us have to manage hundreds of passwords.  When we are away from our computer we don't have access to the PWD list.  I am not going to remember hundreds of passwords including the one for Arlo.  The expire token ID things is very inconvenient when we are away from the house.  I suggest a better way to warn peple that their token is getting ready to expire so they can manually reset it before they need to use the system away from their home. ... Please change the scheduling capability to allow for more than 6 scheduled items in a 24 hour period. Due to little motion where my cameras are located, I must trigger on audio to check conditions at the site over a 24 hour period. If I triggered on audio for more time periods, the camera would be triggered constantly for wind. I do not want constant triggering, but want it to trigger according to a schedule. I can only schedule 6 2 minute time periods for this action. Any time slots beyond 6 periods is lost. My schedule now is: 12am-5am trigger on motion only. 5am - 5:02am trigger on motion and audio. 7am - 7:02am trigger on motion and audio. 9am - 9:02am trigger on motion and audio. 11am - 11:02am trigger on motion and audio. 1pm - 1:02pm trigger on motion and audio. 3pm - 3:02pm trigger on motion and audio. 3:02pm to 11pm trigger on motion only.   I would rather be able to schedule 23 2 minute time periods for triggering, but the cameras do not currently have that capability.   ... The current option for disabling the Alarm Siren involves physical removal of the speaker from the base station. Arlo's apps are designed to accidentally activate the 100 decibal alarm with no volume control. It would be nice of Arlo offically supported an option to remove the Alarm Siren completely. Shooting at targets 1000 yard and further during load testing or competition,  I would like to see the Arlo Go be able to take single snapshots of the target and send them back to a cell phone . I would really like the ability to be able to schedule automated video recordings and image captures throughout the day. For example, capture a 10 second video and image once every 30 minutes. Not motion triggered or manually triggered. I would like this to be an option in the scheduler to set up video and image capture. I work in environmental science field and  cosistent observations to detect changes and quantify those changes is key to my research. This function would make my field work much easier. I suggest changing the confirmation of deletion button. I suggest confirming with a yes or no as to your current continue or cancel. The reason I suggest is I am dyslexic and have on occasion accidentally deleted videos due to thinking I was canceling and instead was actually confirming.
