UI for sending and receiving SMS for Arlo Go

To save on phone bills, I chose to use a prepaid SIM card which I can top-up with more data as needed. That way I avoided yet another subscription. Problem is, some top-up operations require access to sending and receiving SMS. It's common that carriers require you to send a message to say 7788 with the contents "1 GB" to top-up data.

So far I've had to remove the SIM from the Arlo Go and put it in a regular cellphone to send and receive SMS. I'd love being able to do it directly from the web or the Arlo app.

Mobile broadband routers usually provide a UI for sending and receiving SMS. The Arlo Go should have the same. See the attached screenshot for an example.

Fledgling

I would love to see native SMS support supported for the Arlo Go.

It already has a SIM-card and the hardware required. Native SMS support would be far superior and more reliable than some more or less convoluted IFTTT solution and critical to those of us using iOS devices and no SMS2mail functionality with our carrier.
