More ways to use Arlo Chime

I would like to get more use out of the Arlo Chime. Currently it only rings when the doorbell is pressed.

There are times when an immediate alert is useful, but the house alarm is much too aggressive. Like an audio alternative to the security light.

For example:

- to make a calm noise sound when a car enters the driveway.

- to make a calm noise if the temperature drops below a certain level.

- act like a clock an cently chime on the hour? or at defined times as a reminder, such as 'take medicine time'

Sometimes an immediate notification is more useful than recording the activity with a camera.

For this to work, it must ust a DIFFERENT sound to the doorbell and ideally a custom (lower) volume. A very gentle non-invasive melodic noise when the temparature drops below a certain level would be really useful for some people.

To extend even further, it would be great if the chime could act as a speaker / intercom to talk to upstairs / downsrtairs and even better if it could make use of a siri-type voice. So that as well as chime, some specific events could trigger custom phrases.

Custom phrases are useful if using IFTTT and multiple triggers activate a signgle chime.

e.g. "motion on driveway" and "motion in garden" could be said by a single chime device. But if it was a noise, we wouldn't know which location detected motion, unless we could set custom noises per trigger (which would be ideal).

I have an arlo camera in a hidden area outside of the house.   Would be great for chime to notify everyone of a person or animal there.  No one is going to check their phone for one of so many alerts they often get.  And would uniquely take advantage of distinguishing between a person and animal. Would make the chime finally seem worthwhile given it’s steep price!
