Manual alarm siren activation as a rule source
Use Case:
Staff at a city Church who manually trigger an alarm siren on a VMB4000 base station from their ios App due to duress from intruders.
I want a rule which specifies alarm siren activation as the trigger event, and emails offsite staff to that effect. Currently only Cameras can be the source device for a rule. Having an onsite siren as the only result of a duress activation may not be enough protection for the staff if they are alone on site.
The cameras are on the main cathedral foyer entrance, so triggering the siren on motion or audio detection is not a solution (it would go off constantly, all day). I only want external notification if under duress and the siren has been manually activated.
