I bought a second wired hub just to find out in the app that you can only have one wired hub per "location" or home. I wanted to use it as a second keypad but apparently you can only use the wireless keypad for that. I tried to reasearch this before purchasing but there are is no documentation that specifies this that I could find. It was only when trying to add the device on my app that I found this out.  Is there any way to use my 2nd wired hub functionally as a 2nd keypad? Are there plans in the pipeline to allow for this?

That is definitely not the case.  I have two VMB5000 smarthubs in my home (both in the same location).

Can you clarify exactly what you purchased?  There should be part number somewhere on it.  The smarthubs are are VMBxxxx.

@StephenB Unfortunately for us, the consumers, Arlo calls multiple different products "hubs". I am referring to the "Keypad Sensor Hub" SH101. This is the wired keypad that comes with the security systems. I purchased 2 of them but can only use one.

VMB5000 is a "SmartHub" which is also called a Base Station. I am aware that you can have multiple Base Stations as I also am running multiple.

To reiterate the question. It seems as though right now, the "Wirefree Keypad" KB101 is the only device that allows you to have multiple keypads in different locations in your home. According to the Arlo app, you can only have one SH101 "Keypad Sensor Hub" per location. This means that for people who thought it was a good deal to buy multiple security system kits to get enough sensors. Those extra wired Keypad Sensor Hubs are basically useless right now. Perhaps however, they can be configured in the future to act as auxiliary keypads. So to save the headache for others researching this question, you should not buy more than one "Security System" package hoping to be able to use the keypads in different parts of your home, because that is not currently possible.
