What is causing my Alro Motion Sensors to periodically create false triggers? There appears to be no rhyme or reason when this happens and is not related to just one sensor. I'm very disappointed in the number of false triggers activated by these motion sensors. It is starting to look like I wasted my money on a home security system that activates way too many false alarms.

Hi @James27

How long has this been occurring for you? Is it on all your devices or a select few? May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far, so I'm not suggesting anything you have previously done.

Thanks!

I've been experiencing this issue as well, but it seems tied to low sensor battery. I started getting the random false motion triggers right after my sensor reported its battery was very low.

@SimplifiedGeek is this still occurring for you? How often does it happen, is it erverytime the batteries start to run low? I'm assuming you haven't been able to pinpoint yet. Your batteries are probably close to full right now after changing them out.
