Hello all, I am currently trying to to set up an Arlo security key pad SH1001.
Ive changed my network to 2.4ghz and reset both my router and and the keypad several times. I have confirmed my phone is connected to our Wifi on 2.4ghz and is using a wpa/wpa2 security setup. What else can I do? I've been reading forum after forum. Nothing seems to help.
I'd like to preface this with I was able to setup the 2nd gen cameras and doorbell. Just not the keypad.
Additionally we have Verizon internet gateway.

How far into the process are you getting before it fails?

I get to the point where you scan the QR code on the back of the keypad and then hit continue once all the lights are blinking. I believe at this point it tries to connect and I get a message saying " cannot connect to arlo_2088" , please make sure device is plugged in.

Any chance that the phone is set so it cannot connect to unsecured networks?

I will look into it. But I did try on three separate phones. Mine a Motorola edge, my work phone and iPhone 7, and my wife's phone a Samsung galaxy.

Are you still seeing this same behavior?

Yes same behavior on all three phones, so I factory reset my router. And set it to only have 2.4ghz. still no good.

Can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. That way I can have support look into this further. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.
