App doesn't have the option to add security system

Hello,

 

I have recently ordered the Arlo Security System. I have other Arlo cameras and doorbell already and the most updated version of the app. 

However, when I go to see about adding the system, the app does not give an option for Security. Only cameras, lights and doorbells and base station. 

Any ideas?

What country are you in?

Outside the U.S.  But have VPN and wanted to use this without monitoring subscription. Just to monitor doors/windows. 

I have the U.S. version of the app.

The app itself is global.

 

Do you mean that the account you are using was created in the U.S. (or created using a VPN that terminated in the U.S.)?

Created using a VPN that terminated in the U.S.  

 

Also went to the portal via web browser and same options. No option to add security system or even Pro5 cameras available. 

Looked around and nowhere did it specify my location or account creation location.
