Scheduling: Why does the app tell me that is 8:00 PM start time is AFTER the 6:00 AM end time?

I'm having a heck of a time scheduling. The app is constantly telling me that my start time must be before end time, but as far as I know, 8:00 PM is before 6:00 AM of the following day. 

Am I missing something?

Break it into 2 parts - you can't span days.  8PM-11:59PM and then 12AM-6AM.

Yeah, finally figured that out.

I'm retired from the computer industry. I ran a company that designed and built systems, and designed security to protect them. 

If somebody wrote that piece of crap scheduling app for my company, he'd be out in seconds. 

That is totally unintuitive and absolutely unforgivable.
