Replacement battery stuck in Arlo Go 1

I purchased several third-party batteries that came with a battery charger and finally decided to try one since I was running short on batteries (I'd originally purchased the kit specifically for the battery charger). The battery went in slightly stiffly but fine. When I later tried to remove the battery in the process of configuring a few details, I found that it was completely stuck because it is about 1/4 to 1/2 mm taller than the original battery. I tried inserting a business card alongside the battery to push the tab back that's toward the inside area of the battery compartment, but the card entered only half to three quarters of the way before bending over. Seeing several screws around the edge, I tried removing them and then sliding the outer casing off, but to no avail. Do you all have any suggestions of how to either remove the battery or disassemble the camera enough to get access to the two tabs inside the battery compartment?
