Using Arlo Go I want to conserve data and energy.

I'd like to set up my cameras to take only pictures at max 30 second intervals rather than video.

If you mean like a time lapse, it can't be done. These only work with motion detection.

Currenly the camera takes a video. I wan't to only take a picture when motion is detected rather than a minimun 10s video.

If your modes/rules have a selection for snapshot instead of video, you're all set. Mode tab, select your camera, edit your modes (Armed by default). I don't remeber if the Go has this option but I think it does. Be sure to save your settings.

There is no option to snapshot only. The only option is to record with a selector ranging from 10-120s.

Then there's no option to do what you desire.

Is there a forum to request this feature?

I have 6 of them with the Arlo solar panels and the solar panels are not keeping up.
