My scenario is slightly different to others, but same issue.

Using Solar Panel to power, no electricity.

Original Arlo Battery had no charging issues but would not hold a full charge after 2-3yrs and quickly drop over Winter months with less sun

Purchased Genuine Arlo replacement battery

Charged to 100% and operated normally for a mth, then received the "Charging Fault has been detected Error".

Purchased a second Genuine Arlo replacement

It only ever charged from 0% in instal to about 58% over a period of 10 days.

Then today charge dropped to 40% and Charging Fault message?

The Unit is 400km away so difficult to drive there and unplug and replug in.

No issue with the old battery, so am thinking to just reinstall the old one.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If a possible cable issue where do I purchase a solar power cable?

Location: Victoria AUS

Thanks.

This morning it is charging normally.
Dropped from 40 to 36% charge overnight. Yesterday was overcast and may have contributed to the error, today is brilliant sunshine, will see how the day progresses, I would like to see it get to 100% eventually.

The Error did not appear today but very little change in charge at 36% end of day.
I’m thinking I will instal a new solar panel and cable when next on site to eliminate this as an issue and update but this won’t be for another 4 wks.
Thanks
