Can I keep the camera plugged into the charger 24/7?

Simply: can I keep the camera plugged into the charger 24/7? 

I bought the solar panel, and the paperwork that came with it said: Do not place in direct sunlight. 

Well, that turned out to be untrue. And to move it is a hassle. But there's an outlet 3 feet from the camera. So . . . can it stay plugged in permanently?

It shouldn't be an issue.... all the cameras get really an 80% charge if battery is in camera ( tho it reads 100% )

This is a safe level of charge for a battery left plugged in.
