Have followed directions, exactly, but Arlo Go can't be discovered....have tried multiple times, from the app and from computer. Good LTE coverage (at least 3 bars). Any suggestions? Thanks....matt rain

Have you tried a reset using the reset button until the LED flashes amber. What happens when you first insert the battery - it should blink blue? Have you tried powering the camera with the USB charger when discovering?

Are you on the same carrier as the model Go uses?

I was under the impresion that you setup a plan during the setup. From what I find online about SIMs, the AT&T and Verizon need to be activated, but the Arlo SIM is supposedly already activated. I can't find anywhere to actually setup a plan...

I didn't really answer the question...so to answer, I am not on the Arlo carrier, whatever that is!

That shouldn't be an issue, based on my limited experience with the Go cameras. Since you're still having problems, I'd suggest either swapping at the store or open a case with support here.

matthewrain,
Which Arlo Go camera do you have (what is the Sku, example: VML4030-100NAS)?
Is the battery fully charged? Have you tried going through the activation process with the camera plugged in?

It's the...
VML4030-200NAS
And I have tried, powering it with USB. Could it be that it's 3 bar (occaisonaly 2)? Does it need to be full bars to activate?

matthewrain,
It's possible the signal strength could be causing an issue. Are you able to try in a different location?

No luck. Is it possible that the Arlo Go carrier has no coverage, where I am, or are they the same strength/location for AT&T, Verizon and Arlo? I am on Nantucket, FYI...

Sounds like its not on the mobile network. Check the SIM is activated, no PIN or anything. Check the SIM is inserted correctly. Check what the APN should be for your carrier and set that manually in the app during setup. Then try claiming again.
The indicator light on the front flashing purple/blue will give you a clue to what stage it is getting to. Look in the manual for a guide to the LEDs.
