Purchased a new battery and solar panel for my Arlo GO about 10 days ago. The battery arrived with about a 75 percent charge. I put the new battery in the camera and connected it to the solar panel on Saturday April 10th. Today camera shows it is charging but is only at 63%. What should I do. There's no guarantee that the panel can keep the camera fully charged - it depends on the minutes of video streaming per day, and of course the amount of sunshine. Cold temperatures are also a factor (though likely not this time of year).
So even with the panel, you might have to charge the battery from time to time.
You could
- just wait and see if the charging level goes up.
- disarm the camera for a while, which will eliminate the video streaming power use and allow the charging to catch up.
- charge up the camera with the AC-powered USB charger.

I shut off the camera and the battery went from 61% to dead in 4 days. Arlo customer support is horrible. After a year of Covid they should have figured out how to get calls answered in the space of 20 minutes not hours!
