4 days ago I started to receive low battery warnings even though the camera was plugged in via the cable and power adapter to the wall power outlet. The cable and power adapter were in the original box and has been working fine for 9 months like this. I have never had to charge the camera before this.

Today i received a warning of 1% battery left. So i removed the camera from its bracket on the roof and brought it inside. After reading some troubleshooting, I reset the camera from the app and restarted the app.  The camera by this stage had turned itself off im assuming no battery.

The camera was then removed from the app.  All day I have had it plugged into the wall plug and i have a double flashing amber light. I am unable to turn the camera on.

Again after reading some posts on this forum i believe i can take the battery from the camera and plug the camera straight into the wall socket via the cable.  However, when i do this i get no lights at all and it doesn't seem to power up at all. Have contacted Arlo support and they have said keep charging even though it has now been 8 hours and nothing is happening.    Any help would be appreciated.

It could be a faulty camera or battery but first try a different charger to see if that helps. It would seem that the camera isn't receiving any power from the charger so testing that theory should be first. You can also try powering a different device that has a microUSB port on it to see what happens.

Thank you for your reply.  I have now tested the cable in another device (not a camera though) and can confirm no power is coming through.  I's since discovered that Arlo have discontinued the Arlo Go mobile in Australia. Have spoken to customer support and the best they can do is escalate the issue (have been told that has happened twice now yet no contact back) and can't tell me where to get a new cable.  They have NOT been helpful at all. I am furious

It sounds like the power supply has failed. At this point you'd need to buy a new one.
