This morning I used my Android KitKat Smartphone to turn-off my Arlo Go camera, a few hours later I tried to turn the camera back to On, but all I got & am still getting is "Getting Status. I also tried turning it on with our home computer - I logged-in, went into settings, but there is a red elongated box with "Device Is Offline" the usual on/off switch is missing.
The camera is running of of house current directly, no battery is installed - the camera and controls have been working normally to this point.

My wife thinks that turning off the circuit breaker for a moment might have effective the camera as the AC adapter is plugged into one of the receptacles the circuit breaker powers. Obviously, that would kill power to the camera, but then when the power is restored to the
receptacle - shouldn't the camera be powered again?

My Arlo Go was working off the AC adapter with no battery installed. The circuit breaker for the receptacle where the AC adapter is plugged-in was tripped, and now the camera is showing off-line, even though power has been restored.
How do I get the camera back on line?

I'd suggest leaving the battery in to help fly through times like this. It won't hurt the battery at all.
It may be that you need to go to the camera to get it working again. A resync may be needed.

Actually, it was tech support that suggested removing the battery & just use the AC adaptor - this was because the battery was losing it's charge in cold weather - even with the camera off.

Is resyncing the same as resetting? And will I lose my month (which I already payed for)?

Resync isn't the same as resetting although you may need to do the reset to get it to resync. (Hope you can follow that.) If you reset, you'll lose any videos in the library but any subscription remains in force.

Could you give me the steps for a resync?

It would be the same thing as first setting the camera up. If that doesn't work, you may want to remove the csamera from Settings, My Devices and start the process anew.

Yep, that is what I had to do, but now as a result of the screwed up payment site - there are multiple $1 charges on my card. I'll have to wait for my statement to see if the are multiple monthly plan charges as well.
