You bet it does. Spec battery life is for <5 minutes of recording and live view per day.

Is the cell connection good? How much recording and live viewing has occurred?

Yes cell connection is good. We have it set to record in 10 second increments. Since it is a "new toy" to us for hunting, we have been checking the live feed a lot. Does checking the live feed on my cell phone drain the battery?
