Hello, I would like to find the best solution to have a wireless solar chargng camera with SIM card that I can use at a property in Spain. I have a few Ultra2 cameras setup elsewhere and like the equipment so would like to add Arlo to this one of possible. Thanks.

Hi BGOSNZ,

You can purchase the Arlo Go camera here: Arlo Go - Spain

And you can refer to this thread for using Arlo Go in Europe: Will Arlo Go work in Europe with any activated SIM?

You can also use the Arlo Solar Panel Charger (VMA4600) for your Arlo Go camera, which you can view our full accessories list here: Arlo Accessories - Spain

I have purchased the USA AT&T version of the Go camera.

Trying to set it up in South Africa. Have inserted an unlocked Vodacom/Vodafone SIM card. PIN Code 0000.

I hold the synch button. I get. the shutter noise.
I get the QR code on the laptop (or iPhone) screen.
I get the chime.

"Looking for Arlo...."

Thats where it ends for me.

Nothing happens.
Must I modify the APN network name for Vodacom/Vodaphone?

Any ideas from users in other countries?
I don't think the camera is locked into the AT&T network?

Hi,

Have you used the SIM card in a phone or other device first before using in the camera? I have seen the issue where these unlocked cards need to be activated first when using a Hotspot device when travelling. Its a right pain.
