I was about to replace about 65 TP Link Tapo cameras spread right across Australia with Arlo Go 2's because they have 4G and WiFi connection.
I purchased 5 Go 2's for testing and have been fairly happy with functionality so far, but have hit a big issue.
The only way to access the recordings on the SD card is by physically removing it and putting in a computer or phone to view the files -totally impossible for me as some are 4000km away. I use that feature on the Tapo cams all the time. The Tapo app can view the recordings and download the clips via the app.
Unfortunately, the Tapo cams don't have a cam with a 4G and WiFi option.
Darn it Arlo, so close, but deal breaker for me.
Yes, I know it is available via cloud subscription, but I'm not paying for that.
Also, many of my cams are in really patchy service areas, so cloud recordings would be patchy.
Is remote access planned? If so, I may hang out waiting for it. Otherwise I'll be returning them & looking for another product that fits the requirements.

If network is patchy in some areas, then why would you need a camera with 4g? A SIM camera wouldn't work there, would it?
What's wrong with the current system apart from the fact that it doesn't have 4g? If that's the only issue and the fact that accessing an SD card is difficult, then I'd try and think of a fail-over - providing that you know that in some areas it wouldn't work - such as a 4g router/stick with loaded data or monthly plan as a back up for your WiFi router (these might have a better reception and connection speed than the camera itself - you'd need to do some testing, though), or a more reliable DSL/fibre connection.
Also, think about the environmental impact of repaving 65 cameras. A news feature on Euronews (I'm in Europe) talked about climate change accelerating, which we can see everywhere without being told about it on the news.
