Go 2 Activation with Verizon finally worked after challenges -- APN required

Had trouble activating the Go2 on LTE

Spent 2 hours with Verizon support, ending with Tier2 support.

Finally worked!

 

They got the IMEI and ICCID from me.  They "put it back in the system"

Meanwhile I added vzwinternet to the APN when Arlo setup fails

Power cycled the device (leave off for 2 mins)

 

questions:

1). do we need to manually add the APN or should this come default set by Verizon

2). any other tips for future activations to make it more seamless

I believe these settings should be applied by default. If you experience issues in the future, please let us know.
