Factory reset

Probably heard this before but everything has been working well until recently when my camera went off line 

The wi fi signal is still good so I tried a factory reset several times but the camera will not get recognised by the phone

I've checked WiFi settings

I noticed that there seems to be an issue  with the sync button it take ages to begin blinking blue and it only lasts a short time after which the app states no camera found

I saw that the factory reset notes mention an amber light should appear after the blue starts blinking

I've never seen amber?

I'm at the end of my patience and considering requesting a replacement under warranty or cancel my subscription 

• I've tried calling the support number several times and got sick off being put on hold because there was no one from dedicated service to really help

Hello!

I've tried everything to get my camera back online, but it refuses to connect despite strong Wi-Fi. The sync button takes ages to blink blue, and I've never seen the amber light after multiple factory resets. Frustrated, I'm considering requesting a replacement under warranty or canceling my subscription as support has been unhelpful.

How long are you holding down the sync button inside the housing?  It takes about 15 seconds.

Have tried holding down sync button in various lengths of time 

• The only way I can get the blue light to flash requires holding the sync button down for up to 60 seconds.

First you should see amber flashing.  Are you seeing that?  If you are, release the sync button at that point.

Finally got this damn camera to work

I wish I knew how because I can't remember what or how it was just a matter of perserverance.

Probably went thru add camera 30 times

Surely there's a better way 

A decent install manual would be good. Especially laying out the steps required when adding a camera 

• Including how to's on default settings calender set up event management video sensitivity routines set up etc
