Connecting to 12v

Is it possible to connect Arlo Go2, to a 12volt car battery?

Can i just cut the Magnetic Charging Cable and connect it to 12v poles?

I think that will damage the charging circuitry.  The indoor Arlo charger delivers 5 volts, the outdoor charger delivers 9.
