Hi,

I have a whatever Arlo subscription. I just put a camera at a friend's place for this friend's use. I do not want to have the notification on my phone. I actually do not want to have access to it all, but it is too cumbersome to have this person do a factory reset of the camera and put it on this person's own account. Indeed, the reason it is on my account in the first place was to ease the technicality of it.

On this, I found curious, that Arlo cannot just transfer a camera to a different other arlo account without having to do a whole factory reset of the camera especially considering the high subscription price Arlo charge. Just because of the moves of Arlo towards an extorsion scheme, would justify Arlo to design its product in a way they respond to its customer need, so in this instance the ability to just transfer the camera to a different account, but there are tons of others useful features I wish Arlo would have.

So, can I leave it as is and tweak the app to not receive the notifications for that camera. I must add, I have other Arlo cameras for which I do need to have the notification. Before bragging about "smart notifications", it would be good if Arlo would implement this feature, which I believe is not available, despite common sense calling for it to be present or others users having mentioned about it before... I know, I can tweak the notificatinos push for one specific camera in the "modes" menu, but I am trying to have a different setting for me and with the user I have granted access to the camera.

Thank you for your help,

Best

Certainly! Here's a more concise and professional version of your statement:

As the Admin, you can disable notifications by adjusting the camera’s rules or muting notifications for a set time. Both options will stop alerts for all users, as notifications are a global setting. If you no longer wish to have access, it may be simpler to remove the SmartHub and devices from your account and allow the shared user to onboard and assume the Admin role.
