Arlo GO 2 what is the viewable range when live streaming?

You can view it, but motion detection won't work reliably.

So at any given time during the day I can check in with the camera to see if anything is happening, correct?

Yes - you can look in the Feed to see any recording, and you can also livestream the camera.  You can do this either through the app and a PC browser (my.arlo.com)
