Does the new unit have a better radio and reception capabilities as compared to the originals? Mine constantly drop in and out of service! I do not have wi-fi capability.

Signal strength is dependent on your LTE carrier. Arlo Go 2 is currently available with Verizon. Check with your local Verizon retailer to find out more about LTE coverage in your area.
