I recently purchased 2 new Essential Spotlight cameras and although they are functioning normally and sending me notifications, but I cannot livestream the feed. I continually get the above-referenced error code or "This camera is streaming on another device and cannot be accessed right now" - even though I'm the only active user trying to retrieve the feed when I look under active users. What can I do to livestream on these cameras?

Happening to me now, in the middle of monitoring for kids so I can hand out candy. Now I can't get live video. Great.

Same. That's exactly what happened to us. A group of kids came up, I looked at it, and once I closed it, the next group showed up and I was unable to see them.

Happening to us too. Seems to actually be working fine... it records just fine when its armed. But we cannot view the live feed.
I restarted the base station, but that didn't do anything.

We are having the same issue. My husband's phone gets the error
SIP Streaming in progress, RTSP Streaming is not allowed, try after some time !!!
Mine gets the error
Live Streaming is currently in use by another device
After 30 minutes, it clears the errors and we can view Live stream again.

I am having same issue with all 4 Arlo cameras. The doorbell is getting the SIP Streaming error, my 2 Arlo Pro 4 cameras are getting "Live streaming is currently in use by another device" which is very concerning. And my Arlo Essentials camera just keeps glitching .

Same here. They must have resolved in internally due to volume of complaints.

Yep started happening tonight on Halloween. Have the wired doorbell. Streaming doesn't work on my phone or my wife's phone. Restarting the device did not fix it.
Disappointed the product is not working and is unfixable.

Same problem here, and I see zero feedback from Arlo. Is this a server issue, a camera issue, a network issue?

I'm having the same issue. I assume arlo's servers are being over loaded.

Hi BrookeN,
Seems we have the same problem. I tried to restart it and also remove and add back it. It still get the same error. I am just moved from Blink to Arlo two days. Arlo have better image but lower sensitivity and live streaming problem.

Same thing here. Really annoying since I'm trying to monitor the front of the house for Halloween. Seems to correct itself after a long while.

Same here on all of my cameras...started at 6:35 PM (pacific time)...but they all still send notifications and still record video triggered by motion 🤔
Cameras came back up for about 8 minutes but now down again 🙄

I started getting this message when trying to watch my live cameras. This message appears on both the MY ARLO on my desktop computer and on the ARLO App.
This message:
Live Streaming is currently in use by another device
I have also received this error message too...
SIP streaming in progress, RTSP Streaming is not allowed, try after some time!!!
What does that mean?
Currently in use by another device? ....Huh?
"Try after some time"? "Some" ....huh?
All my cameras record video like they should, but I cannot watch LIVE video.
I have rebooted everything multiple times.
What's going on??

Add me to the list of thousands getting this error on Halloween night. Frustrating as I can't watch the front door for trick or treaters. Especially since my doorbell doesn't always ring.
I'm thinking it's time to pull this and get a Ring.
