problem with Essential Wireless Video Doorbell after app update

I've been using the Essential Wireless Video Doorbell for a couple of years without any issues until just recently. Over the past few weeks, it has stopped connecting to my network. I've tried multiple factory resets and have even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but I'm still facing the same problem. During setup, everything seems to go smoothly, but it just won’t connect to the Wi-Fi.

I’ve been repeatedly trying to reconnect with no success. While I can't say for certain, this issue seems to have started around the release of the latest update version 5.05 (8508) on October 15th.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions that might help?

While it could be a faulty doorbell, it would be worthwhile to reboot your router as well as to verify that you aren't using the router's access control to block new devices (or that it has been set to allow the doorbell to connect).

Hello, and thank you for your suggestion. The router itself hasn’t been modified or changed since the issues began, but I’ll give it a try anyway. Thanks again!
