location services

I am interested in this camera but want to know if location services are required to connect to my phone.  I am using a different vendor currently that requires this but we have it turned off most of our phones and hope that this does not require it.

I do not have the location turned on any of my devices ( unless using maps ) and both iOS and android work fine

* of course you will not be able to use the Geozone feature of Arlo without it ... but many dont use that anyway.
