cannot record to local storage drive

firmware 1.2.0.0_320_401  Model #VMC2030 

I recently installed a local storage drive because free subscription expired. I am not able to store any video to library. There is no manual record button either on the camera when I open it up on my app or PC. I have over cameras that record to library. please help ty

What Smart Hub or Base to you have the Essential connected to? Only the VMB4540 and VMB5000 Smart Hubs allow you to view Local storage in the App. In the older bases you have to eject the USB and view in a computer. Also you won't have Manual recordings without a sub. 

What options will I have when my Arlo trial ends?
