at what percentage do I need to recharge my arlo essiential camera battery? I think that I saw somewhere to recharge at 35%, but I can't find it in the manual

The LED starts alerting you when the charge drops below 15%, so you should ideally not let it go much below that.  If if totally drains, it can be tricky to get the charging to work.

35% sounds a bit high to me (assuming you are not leaving on a trip), maybe shoot for 20%.
