Worst smarthome products

Can somebody please help me. I don’t know what is wrong but I’m trying to setup essential xl camera, obviously it didnt work with HomeKit, so i bought an Arlo hub.

i have tons af smarthome products, even Aqara products Can be setup in no time. But these Arlo products are killing me. The smarthub simply cant pair with the essential camera, they are 1 meter a part and flashing blue. I know the setup guide is saying it is supposed to flash White, but the camera has never could show white led. When factory resetting, it is supposed to flash blue, and then flash amber 3 times. But it flashes 14 times. Absolutly nothing the setup guide whats me to do is possible.

ive been trying to set it up for two months, so now i cant return this. 
how are they even able to sell this stuff?
