Video Settings and Activity Zone settings not applied

Has anyone else seen this issue? I configured my video settings and activity zone, but when I connect to the live view those settings dissappear. If I go into the settings for both they are still there so ince they are applied to the live view I connect to live view it's fine the settings are applied. This happens at least once a day and becoming a pain.

I'm confused. Activity zones don't have anything to do with live view, just recordings that are processed to eliminate videos of things out of zone. As for the video settings, what in particular seems to be missing?
