First off my camera model is not even listed in the Model drop down. I have the app installed on my Phone. I proceed to add my cameras and informed "camera not found". Then I can "add manually" but where do I find the IP address. Nowhere on the shipping box.

This is confusing. The VMC2330 is a 3-pack of VMC2030 cameras (which is listed). In other words, the Arlo Essential Spotlight.

Are you specifying the "Essential Spotlight" camera when you add the device? If you choose a different model (for instance "Essential"), the process will fail.
You might also try using a PC (browse to my.arlo.com), and add the camera from the web interface.

When the cameras are connected to your home wifi, then the router assigns a dynamic IP address. So you'd need to look in the attached device list of the router.

It took me some time to get my problem sorted -- signs of old age. When I went to the App store and searched Arlo the first one that popped up was Home Security. Since an Arlo image just like my camera appeared I concluded this was it and downloaded it. Had I spent more time searching I would have found the Arlo App. Once I deleted Home Security and went with Arlo everything went smoothly. I mention this because others could find themselves in the same trap. By its name, the fact that it displays as the first on the list and a picture of the Arlo made it easy to be misled. You might want to be more explicit about this not to install the wrong App..

Glad you figured it out. The symbol for "home security" app is not the Arlo symbol and is third party that you confused unfortunately but all good now. It does come up first though in the Apple app store.

I think the IP is of your router.
But I'm no expert. In fact I'm having the same problem. On both the App and the website, it doesn't find my camera. VMC2330 isn't listed as a supported camera. And you can't talk to support unless you have an annual contract.
