Battery depletes quickly. Less than 7 days. Settings are conservative. Suggestions?

The usual candidates are 1) signal strength/quality and/or 2) the total amount of recording and live viewing. If you move a camera closer to the router or hub, does it get better? Total up the recording time for each camera per day and factor in any live viewing and tell us the result.
